I have been working on my portfolio for my photography the whole day. It's been quite stimulating & nostalgic looking through all my photos since 2009.
I am fascinated by how a moment gets captured just like that, capturing all the things arround you never would have noticed in just that moment. The prescense in the past. Maybe a bit complex, but it's beautiful.

Listnening to beautiful ethnic music and pretending Im in love. Trying to figure out who I am. Feeling every emotion fly through my body. Flying into the endless space. Finding out if the stars do actually twinkle outside the atmosphere. How the sun would feel like from outerspace. Suddenly I realize that I am just a dot trapped in infinity. A tiny dot.

I made a flyer for DJ +darelectric, apparently my brothers mother. The photo I used as the background is one I took in Norway at a wedding party a few years ago. Old pictures usually come in handy.

Yesterday me and Lawnce had are annual fight. But we are friends now. I guess family will always be family.

first post of the year yee

It's been a while, I was stranded on a beach with no internet, camping. A good thing ofcourse, I spent my first day of the year lying on a hammock with the most beautiful view of the pacific ocean (Ahijadero, Colima) and probably thousands of palm trees surrounding me. Wonderful company and the sun putting color to my really pale skin. Fresh coconuts for breakfast and delicious seafood for lunch and dinner together with cold beers. What a lovely creation.

Unfortunately I forgot my camera.......... so no pics. Well, Lawnce did bring his, but it stopped working sort oft.. but he managed to get a few pics which I will eventually post, not today though because im super lazy at the moment. Instead I am posting a pic I stole from my friend Marina.

Anyhow, next step is Chapala again to say hi to my mom and after that it's the beach once again maybe, but this time Manzanillo, Colima. Ooooooohhhhh am I lucky....

This weekend has been funfunfun, my dear brother Lawnce came to visit me in Guadalajara and we danced danced danced with my lovely friends.
On sunday Lawnce & I took 4 different busses to get to my moms place in Chapala where we are going to celebrate christmas. It is so beautiful here in Vista del lago (view of the lake), the biggest lake in Mexico. I wish I could go for a swim, but you know.. this world we are living in.. the contamintaion is not so good for you... but, it's beautiful to look at so it's ok.

I can't believe it, 2 weeks and it feels like an eternity. It's sinking in, Im adapting extremely quick to this enviorment, my new reality.. I love it. As they say; home is where the heart is.

starting over

day 8
Yes, it's been 8 days since I decided to leave everything behind me, everything I ever loved and hated. I took a huge risk and now I am experiencing actual freedom for the first time in my life and it feels fucking great.

The same day I decided to stay I met a very special person, a beautiful girl (anapau, the girl that appears in most of the photos) and she was looking for a roomie to her beautiful apartment in the center of Guadalajara. PERFECT!!!! and here I am. Happy.
Though still in emotions about leaving my beloved brothers and friends, my company and my home. But I had to it for myself, it's something I have always wanted to do.. and I took the chance.

Celebrating my new roomie's bday and my moving in this whole weekend, it's been crazy.
